today i received the first taste of things to be; making money wrenching. it may not have been a month's salary, but I'm okay with baby steps.
I picked up a '73 CB350 a few weeks back. sure, it was a little haggard from being outside for the winter, and of course, that classic old gas smell pouring out of the carbs when i cracked them open. But with a little bit of love and encouragement, she was reborn.
the long walk home. stopped for a breather...
cleaned up the carbs, new oil, adjusted the ignition and valves, new battery...
my recent RD350 purchase has been stealing any ounce of spare time I had remaining. this weekend, lex and i managed to disassemble the bike down to the frame, clean up every piece we could get our hands on and finally puzzle it back together.
